About the Ebook
My first encounter with pictographs of the BC Interior came about through a newly established friendship with Charles Brown, a Nlaka'pamux First Nations artist and trail guide from Lytton. Auspiciously, it was the sacred, pictographic artistry of his ancestors that first drew Charles and I together. That first meeting came on a day-trip into the Stein Valley sponsored by Kumsheen Rafting Adventures as part of the annual Lytton River Festival. Charles led the trip and I participated as an avid photographer.
Since first meeting Charles, I have traveled with him on a number of occasions deep into the regional landscape of our homes. Recently, this included a motorcycle trip to an ancient pictograph site near the base of the Cornwall Hills near Ashcroft.
My photos from these two journeys with Charles (Charlie) Brown are what make up this book. May these images by the Old Ones feed your ancestral soul!

About the Creator
In the late sixties, as a young undergraduate at the University of Calgary, I viewed the very first images of Earth sent back from space. Uplifted and inspired by the primordial majesty and beauty of what I witnessed in those seminal images, I suddenly conceived of myself as an "Earth person," someone with an identity far more expansive and inclusive than anything offered by my culture of birth. Instinctively, I seized the moment and began a life-long quest that has engendered in me, a fulfilling sense of mystic participation in the dawn of a new era for humanity. As part of my own contribution to the emergence of that era, I have formulated a synthesis of astrology, yoga and mythology that simultaneously fosters individual human sovereignty and collective co-creativity. I call it The Lightning Path and my books are inspired by my ongoing inner and outer explorations of it.
