About the Book
Climb the High Pass is the second of two volumes describing a 600 mile walk from the English Midlands to the Western Highlands of Scotland. It was undertaken over three summers and took the author some 45 days. A snapshot of the countryside in the first decade of the third millennium, it comments on history and past times in villages passed through, and meets with many folk along the way. This second volume describes the journey from Cumbria to the Northwest Highlands.
