About the Book
This large-format book of outstanding photographs chronicles the story of Greenwood Ridge Vineyards, a small family-owned winery and vineyard in Anderson Valley, Mendocino County, California. There is essentially no text other than photo captions, but that is enough to artistically document the development of the vineyard from its youth to maturity and the emergence of the unique winery as one of the area's pioneers, one that made major contributions to putting Anderson Valley "on the map." Of particular interest is the architecture of Aaron G. Green, a San Francisco architect who was an associate of Frank Lloyd Wright.
