About the Book
This commemorative book is the culmination of an 18-month long project, conceptualized by the Gender and Development Committee of Peace Corps Romania and realized by workgroups of Volunteers, Returned Volunteers, and Romanians. As the Peace Corps post in Romania closes in 2013, this book serves to commemorate the contributions of Peace Corps in Romania and to capture the Peace Corps experience from the points of view of all involved: past and current volunteers, staff, counterparts, and other host country nationals.
This book is a not-for-profit project. Furthermore, the photos and text contained in this book are personal perspectives and opinions of these contributors and do not reflect the position of the United States Government or the United States Peace Corps.
