Jerry Greenfield, MFA, EdD, is Professor Emeritus at Miyazaki International College in Japan, where he taught from 1997 to 2008. He studied photography with Minor White at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind at Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to moving to Japan, he had a long career teaching photography at the University of Massachusets-Boston, Indiana University-Bloomington, and The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was head of the Media Arts Department and Coordinator of Graduate Programs. His photographs have been exhibited widely and are in a number of public collections in the United States.
