About the Creator
Pat De Caro is a Northwest figurative artist. Her drawings invite a dialogue that promote meanings and metaphoric connection that she weaves into dreamlike visual narratives. The simplicity of her forms communicate a powerful expression. De Caro has exhibited her drawings and paintings in many solo and group exhibits in Europe and the United States. She received the Twining Humber Life Time Achievement Award for Visual Art in Washington State and a Hauberg Fellowship at Pilchuck School of Glass. Her works are held in various collections in the Northwest area that includes the Northwest Museum of Art, the Washington State Arts Commission, Washington State University, and the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture.
