He attended Conestoga College's Broadcasting Course and spent his early career carving out a niche at a local television station. As a freelancer Danny has travelled and shot in over 42 countries and has taught electronic news gathering courses at both Conestoga and Mohawk Colleges in Ontario ,Canada.
