About the Book
This book is a selection of the poetry and paintings of Tony Vaughan, a well loved character of bohemian San Francisco from the 1970s onwards. Founder and leader of the Palace Monkeys Poet's Band, member of the original Goodman Building Collective, originator of XYLOPHONE Magazine–a communal art and word publication, author of numerous chapbooks, filmmaker, resident troubador of the Cafe Trieste and street musician extraordinaire. Tony's core beliefs were World Peace, Civil Rights and Human Rights.
Tony died on September 27th, 2008. Profits from the sale of this book will be used to preserve and promote Tony's poetry and art.
