Siefert is currently deputy director, Bay Street Theater, Sag Harbor, NY. In this role, he works as an advocate for arts and culture. As an artist, Siefert tinkers in his studio, making sculptures and taking photos. Siefert offers narratives of observation - unintended stories that emerge when outside forces alter the structure of things. Siefert received his MFA from Carnegie Mellon University and his BS in landscape architecture from Cornell University.
