About the Book
Sacha was five when he and his parents Amelle and Thierry changed the course of their life. With a small economic boat, a simple life and unscheduled time Sacha has been growing up on board the Ambra Grisea (Amber Grey). From the 11 meter sloop the good life passes day after day. They have sailed from the Sables d'Olonne (France) to Brazil, the Grenadines, Colombia and through the Panama canal that opened the door to their adventures on the Pacific. Life is organized around Sacha's home schooling, Amelle's delicious meals and the many ports they stop to visit and replenish supplies. Behind the curtain of the portholes an incredible succession of places like CoCo Island, the Galapagos, the Marquesas, the Tuamotu Islands, and Hawaii. Finally they arrived in Alaska so arrested by the beauty of the ice and snow they stayed and explored for three years. They are now in Mexico after cruising west coast of America. Over the past ten years of their voyage they have collected many memories, souvenir's and photos that they have shared in this book of recipes by the "cook". All the delicious dishes can be made on board with what you have in the galley and are sure to please the crew at sea or at home. Enjoy!
