About the Book
My journey of drawing in public at Tacos Jalisco for one year, overcoming my fear, improving my drawing and painting skills, making friends, and writing and producing my first book. Eighty ink and watercolor paintings tell a fun story over 60 pages, that will make you smile and laugh on occasion, and feel like you are part of this inviting eatery scene. And if you've ever thought you might like to draw this might just give you the inspiration you need to get started. And if you already draw it might just make you want to do it more in public. At the very least enjoy the ride along my journey!

About the Creator
I have been drawing for a couple of years and one year steadily several days a week, almost exclusively in public places. My book "One Fish Taco and Half an Order of Guacamole A Year of Drawing Over Lunch at Tacos Jalisco" is the story of my pushing myself to brave drawing in public at this resturant and other spots in town. I draw using black ink pen, I do not erase, and I paint with watercolors later. I proclaim that anyone with a desire to draw can do this; let your pen follow your eye; and practice does make you better over time. Art to me is fun, not work; and I enjoy "going into the zone" when I draw and paint. I hope the book might inspire you to try it too.
