About the Book
Acclaimed landscape painter Donald Jurney shares ninety drawings made during his extensive travels in France. Although many of these drawings are now dispersed in private collections worldwide, Mr. Jurney has brought them together again, with pages from his journal, to share an intimate view of the artist at work in the field. Many of Jurney's most well-known paintings stem from these plein air sketches. Join him for a personal tour of "la France profonde", exploring its hidden corners, and discovering how an experienced artist looks at our world. This is a perfect gift for artists, art lovers, and Francophiles alike.
