About the Book
A documentation and illustration of green things found on the San Jose State University campus, San Jose, Ca in Autumn of 2008.
The reason for this book was originally as a project for my Photo 40 class in Autumn of 2008. I wanted to document around 20 trees growing on campus. The assignment's challenge was to make the book interesting and different, and so I applied some knowledge and resources available to me. What resulted is contained in the following pages. Part field guide, part looking glass, I intend this book to serve as a snap-shot glimpse into a world parallel to our own. A world recorded through myth and lore, brought to light only so far as shadow and twilight are concerned with what we can see, or dare to look for.
