About the Book
As Artist in Residence at Glacier National Park in 2006 my project was to produce a poster depicting the remarkable diversity of the "Crown of the Continent" ecosystem. This book contains a sample of the notes and images I made on the way to creating the final poster for the park. Be careful, Glacier fever is terribly contagious, check this book out at your own risk!

Sketchbook in hand, I spend as much time as possible gathering artistic inspiration on wilderness adventures. My goal is to capture the intangibles, the smell of hiking in the rain, the rush of an incoming ocean tide, the thrill of a wildlife encounter. I put together my first book after an Artist in Residence summer in Glacier National Park and I can't seem to stop. I hope my books inspire your own wilderness explorations, even if it's in your own back yard. Enjoy!
