About the Book
This Photobook distils the loneliness of Orfordness. It captures the beauty of the landscape, and the desolation of the remains of its buildings including the lighthouses, the pagodas and the radio masts of Cobra Mist. It was created in 2012 the year that the masts finally fell silent and the BBC World Service ceased transmission from here.

About the Creator
Tessa Sinclair
London
As a doctor I was faced with the constant narrative of human lives and as a photographer became fascinated with the narrative of place. Walking and photographing places I know well has become a pleasure, combining contemplation and creativity. The work I did during the MA photography course at Westminster University has helped to inform my work but it is my own experimentation into bookmaking that has allowed me to realise my ideas and produce tangible collections that I love to share with other people and photographers.
