About the Creator
Born the oldest of eight kids with a hankering for the great outdoors and penchant for problem solving. He found his way to living in Flagstaff, AZ at the edge of Observatory Mesa looking over the the snow capped San Francisco Peaks, but still close enough to the Painted Desert and Sedona that he can pop over when he needs to warm up! With four kind, big-hearted children and a brilliant, beautiful wife, he considers himself a lucky man indeed! He teaches environmental politics at Northern Arizona University. When not writing or enjoying time with his family, he can be found snowboarding, mountain biking, canoeing, horseback riding, or hiking the wilds of the great Southwest. His research focuses on what motivates people to act sustainably in an unsustainable system. He holds degrees in History, Spanish, Teaching, and Sustainable Communities.
