About the Book
I wrote this book for my pre-teen daughters, living 7k miles away in the hope that when they eventually reach out to me on social media, they do it safely. I'm well versed in social media managing several brand pages as part of my career. I've decided to share my personal journey in learning the art of contortion as a means of illustrating how I communicate my feelings at ease in public. I use my self portraits and art as metaphorical demonstrations to show how social media can make you accountable to yourself, and help you grow as a person. I hope that these subtle ideas can be lessons learned and inspiring to show that social media is indeed a valuable modern skill; It's simply a contemporary tool for the same ideallic, age-old lessons of communication and honesty. I hope this will be an inspiration to both adults, through to teens looking to foster better skills and approaches to social media.

I'm a specialist marketer, working in the film industry consulting, researching and developing online strategies for several companies. I have two pre-teen daughters who live very far from me, and I think about them daily. Producing these books is currently my only opportunity of parenting from this distance. I balance my career lifestyle with contortion, studying and illustrating. I have a degree in Engineering but am currently studying to go back to school while working. I hope I can inspire others to be the best they can be too; I am always working on it!
