About the Book
In 1961, Merrill Coffin, began a tradition of creating unique personal Christmas cards for his friends and clients. The following pages are a collection of these cards which have been retouched to their original state. Many of the cards originally were from my Great Grandma Lily who named each person with a blue ink pen. Some age spots and yellowing were removed in some places that took away from the original designs. In most cases, I kept the original look of the linen paper. The history of Merrill Coffin on the following pages originated from Tabetha Butler, Merrill’s youngest daughter, who wrote a report on her father during school. www.thecoffinhouse.com
