About the Book
Tuscany has been a destination I have wanted to visit for some time now. In Autumn 2013 I joined a photographic trip to this region on Italy. Tuscany is known for it's landscapes, traditions, history and artistic legacy, and I have tried to capture this with the images in this book.

This is not meant as a travel book, but a personal photographic record.

I have always had an interest in photography, but this interest only became more serious in 2001, when I had a number of trips to the Lake District where my enthusiasm was re-kindled. I then joined Galashiels Camera Club, and the Royal Photographic Society. I current hold a Licentiateship with the RPS. I have also had a number of acceptances in National and International Photographic Exhibitions. The landscape of my home area of the Borders and elsewhere, and the amazing effect nature has on it, in the way of light and weather, is what I hope to capture in my work.
