The material in this publication was contributed by aero modelers with a lifetime love and fascination for the subject. This book features a large selection of vintage model airplane engines manufactured around the world for powering model aircraft.
All the engines featured here are from private collections of classic vintage engines that were individually test run for this project. The collections are not as is usual case; showcases of new never run specimen, but rather here all examples are running engines. For each engine featured URL's (links) are provided to video clips of the actual starting and running.
Engine specific data such as: history; design features; specifications;performance data; and tips on starting, operating, maintaining, restoring, tuning, fueling and personal comments are presented where appropriate.

About the Creator
DAVID CROCKER
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University. Worked as an Aircraft Structures Engineer in industry and governments for over forty years (1960 to 2003). Specialized in structural design, stress analysis, metal fatigue, fracture mechanics and aircraft structural integrity programs. Currently retired with an interest in aviation.
