About the Book
enclosures, vessels & bowls is a portfolio of my current ceramic work.
the images and objects I make have modernist roots.
to me, modernism is a thought/design process that draws
attention to detail, material and method. i was introduced to these
ideas in the 70s at the institute of design in chicago.
unconsciously, i have an anti-conservative approach to image- and
object-making. i emphasize form and devote a great
deal of attention to detail and craft.
