About the Book
Ruca is a street dog and artist living in a quiet village on the south coast of Portugal. This is a collection of entries from his illustrated journals, curated by his dog-loving Canadian friend Krista Wells.
See the world through Ruca's eyes as he navigates the cobbled streets and rugged cliff tops of his life. His perspective is fresh, four-legged, and often funny.
Each page is lavishly illustrated using a variety of techniques including pen and ink, watercolour, coloured pencil, photography, relief printing and more.
