China is modernizing at a head spinning pace. Many of the historical buildings, cultural antiquities and relics of the world’s oldest continuous civilization are being obliterated.
My sister and I decided to visit China in January of 2009 to explore these cultural sites and experience Chinese culture before gentrification.
This book is in a two part series. The first part chronicles our journey from Beijing to the Silk Road. This book is the story of our journey south.
