In celebration of both my parents Doreen and Bill turning 80, the time was overdue to visually record their amazing lives. When fi rst conceived, the idea for this project was driven by the simple desire to bring together some of the images of our family’s
history which had been distributed among various albums, boxes, cupboards or were hung on walls.
Originally I had thought that this book would become a simple snapshot of our family history. It has become much more than this.
With the recent passing of our mother, and it’s completion long overdue, the desire to record the love my parents had for each other and their families became even greater, this is the result.
