About the Book
Netherlands: What a lovely feeling!
Rain and sunshine helped me make these images. I asked myself, are these photographs meant to render images of the city, its people, its beauty; is it meant to be a travel book, or perhaps just a photographic diary? It's the journey, passage of time, meeting strangers, eating different foods, walking on streets not knowing where they lead, making observations of what I see, hear, smell, taste and touch, everything is a delight. I like the act of photographing, enjoy the process of printing and most of all act of looking. So without labeling myself as a specific kind of photographer, I present my photographs here made during my late fall visit to Amsterdam and Haarlem in 2008 - Yetish
