The ‘Seven Sisters’ of North East India are among the least explored places left on Earth. Remote. Pristine. Uncharted. We did what many thought couldn’t be done. This was the first time that a group of bikers had ridden all seven states of north east India in fourteen days.



The idea for this ride was a long held dream. It was also a ‘recce’ and this meant we didn’t know what the roads would be like, who or what we would meet, what type of accommodation was waiting for us or what adventures the 2000kms would have in store. It turned out to be one of the most challenging motorcycle journeys I’ve ever experienced. Why, because we ventured into areas that have been closed off to the rest of the world for many years, and going to these remote areas meant it didn’t always go to plan, I think we all expected that this may happen from time to time. What made the adventure so special was the group of riders that took part. Never one complaint, regardless of what confronted us, a true sense of camaraderie and humour prevailed, we were all in this together, we got through it together and we all succeeded together. I should also say that this exact route will not be repeated on future adventures in India’s Lost World. We are therefore unique and true adventurers.
