About the Book
Wolsztyn is the site of a steam locomotive depot in Poland which has been servicing steam locomotives on ordinary passenger trains (as opposed to preservationists' specials) since it opened in 1887. The 'Wolsztyn Experience' offers driving and firing courses and this largely pictorial book covers scenes from the last week of operation. (At the present time it is devoutly hoped that the courses will start up again but no definite news is to hand.)
