About the Book
This is the second printing of East & South. Many more photos are presented herein than with the first printing, and to save page count some pages have multiple images. The purpose of this book is historical documentation of trucking, as collected by the author. The timeline is the mid-1950s thru mid-1960s. Included are company glossy prints or paper prints that were gifts to the author and photos taken by the author or from his collection. The photos were restored by DABble Publishing & Imaging. Trucking is a constantly changing arena and without photos like these we would not have any history of trucking.

My husband, Dave drove truck in the U.S. for 40 years with over 3-million safe miles. He started taking photos of trucks as a young boy in the 1950s, inspired by his mother who took photos of his dad's trucks beginning in the late 1940s. He passed away in 2019. His wife survives.
