    About the Book

    Edit

Large, hard-back, landscape design book of Monica Weller's black and white images. "I came to the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland in 1995. I was an amateur photographer. I didn't know it then but it was a turning point in my photography. On a small ferry boat between the island of Berneray and Leverburgh in South Harris, I photographed a woman with her three children (Hebridean Family). A moment in time. Then the moment was gone. This was the voyage that sealed my love affair with the Hebridean people. And this was the photograph which would become one of my most important images".
