About the Book
During the winter of 2004-2005, we decided to take our first Senior Tour. We had heard a lot about these tours from our friend Brenda Saslove who worked for the company. We chose “ARIZONA - The Grand Tour” which included Tucson, Scottsdale, the Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas. We were very interested in the description of the trip in the brochure.
“Spectacular scenery, arid desert lands, a clear sunny climate with very low relative humidity, the fascinating Spanish and Indian cultures, the romantic allure of the Old West and an easy-going lifestyle are just a few of the reasons why Arizona has become such a popular resort area. On this tour we begin with Tucson, whose mix of western, Spanish, Mexican and Indian cultures is colourful and interesting.”
