About the Book
Dopo aver conseguito la laurea, impartisce lezioni di pittura a olio presso l’ istituto Funabashi bijutsu Yobikou. Nello stesso periodo realizza opere di scultura e decorazioni murali e di interni.
Dal 1999 al 2002 esegue allestimenti e promuove mostre presso gallerie d’arte giapponesi.
Dal 2002 al 2005 lavora come pittore scenografo presso il Teatro Shinbashi e il Teatro Nazionale Giapponese di Tokyo, spinto dal desiderio di conoscere meglio la cultura giapponese.
Nel 2006, al fine di studiare in maniera più approfondita l’arte e la cultura italiana, decide di trasferirsi in Italia, paese che da sempre esercita in lui fascino e ispirazione, dove lavora come decoratore di interni e realizza opere di pittura per clienti privati.
L’artista, attraverso l’esperienza artistica sviluppata in Italia, desidera esprimere la propria identità di uomo profondamente giapponese. // Tetsuji Endo was born in Chiba (Japan) September 21, 1977. He graduated in 2002 from the prestigious University of Art Musashino bijutsu Daigaku in Tokyo with a specialization in oil painting.
After receiving his diploma, he taught classes in oil painting at the Institute Funabashi bijutsu Yobikou. In the same period, he realized works of sculpture and mural decoration and interiors.
From 1999 to 2002 he accomplished stagings and promoted exhibits in Japanese art galleries.
From 2002 to 2005 he worked as a scenographic painter at the Shinbashi Theater and the Japanese National Theater of Tokyo, driven by the desire to know better the Japanese culture.
In 2006, after studying in an in-depth way Italian art and culture, he decided to transfer to Italy, country which he had always been fascinated and inspired by, where he began working as a decorator of interiors and realizing paintings for private clients...
About the Creator
Danielle Villicana D'Annibale is an American artist, art dealer, and collector. She is the Founder and CEO of Villicana D'Annibale, Inc., an art gallery and artist agency headquartered in Pasadena, California. She is also Founder and Artistic Director of Via Cavour 85, an experimental space for contemporary art in Arezzo, Tuscany in Italy. Born in San Francisco and raised in Pasadena and Laguna Beach, she earned a B.A in Art history and the Visual Arts from Occidental College in 1994 and a Diploma in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Arti) in Rome in 2006. Danielle has been actively promoting contemporary art and culture with her husband light designer Maurizio D'Annibale since 2010, organizing over 100 exhibits and numerous cultural events as well as creating over 50 artist catalogues and monographs.
