These shots were taken at different times and had no apparent link.
Juxtaposing them in this way they have taken on a character; an embracing of meaning, an intimacy that was hitherto apparently hidden to me (something I find simply wonderful).
I feel that I have merely teased them out, brought them to the surface so to speak.
Oh, and then I started to write all over them.
The idea was to create a light, chirpy adventure story for my kids; it ended up being a ridiculously good ride into the realm of metaphor and the sheer wonder of perception.
I kinda toned it down to help make it readable (at least to myself!); I totally loved doing this - best therapy ever. Why not give it a go?!
