About the Book
On August 12, 2008 a little past six in the evening, I walked out these doors for the very last time. I guess for me it was an Independence Day to some extent, although I did not know it at the time.
Alexander Graham Bell once said, "When one Door Closes, Another Door Opens, but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
This is the only the beginning of my personal journey to find and walk through these doors. It starts with a photography tour through the Yucatán with four people I had never before known. Along the way we became friends, shared experiences and grew.
Travel with me through my photographs and quotes filled with wisdom and humor.
