Margaret is an Accredited Tutor in Needlelace with The Embroiderers' Guild NSW, and has been teaching for over 30 years for the Embroiderers' Guild and Australian Lace Guild at a National level. She was awarded a Scholarship in 2003 to attend workshops in Italy to learn Italian Needlelace and she returned in 2009 for follow up workshops and Museum trips. She studies and researches the old patterns and simplifies and redesigns them for modern day usage.
