About the Book
There are many great photographs depicting and even interpreting wild natural landscapes, taken with complex camera equipment or sweeping aerial views showcasing Australia’s natural beauty. The Fialas’ photographs are of nature seen in suburban and small bush environment. The authors hope to spread the message that beauty of nature is highly accessible - one does not need to travel great distances to find it. It exists in subject matter of all size. Their photographs are perhaps not the typical compositions commonly used in framing the beauty of Australian wilderness. But if you take the time to think and look, you may begin to understand their viewpoint, and may even see different things yourself. This is their aim.
