About the Creator
Salvatore is an independent portraiture photographer whose approach and style span from photojournalism to classic portraiture. The aesthetic of his compositions is the result of his quest for balance: perspective, lights and shadows, forms and distribution of spaces. Whether in studio or on location Salvatore’s ultimate goal is to capture the connection he creates with his subjects and to bring to us the personality of his subjects. His unique and at times challenging use of lights tells us the story within the story in his photography. Before finding his vision in portraiture, Salvatore has explored different genres of photography, spanning from still-life and architecture to landscaping, and photojournalism/street photography. Salvatore has been living in New York since 2003, after moving from Italy.
