Philip 'Fishel' Horowitz grew up on a chicken farm in Toms River with his four siblings. Married for 67 years, he is fond of the harmonica, halva, Harry Belafonte and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is a recipient of the Legion of Honour medal and at the age of 93 years young, this is his first children's book.
