About the Book
After seven years of living in London, England, expat New Zealander Leonie Wise returned to her homeland to live on the small island of Waiheke - 35 minutes by ferry from the mainland.
This collection of photographs and observations on the weather and daily life, was intended to bring an awareness to the charms & magnificence that life on a small island can offer, and is a way of recognising that she didn't have to live in a big city like London to have adventures.
Includes four original poems and a handful of photography outtakes.
All words and photographs by Leonie Wise.
