About the Creator
Amy Elizabeth Winslow & her 3 cats live in the Washington, DC suburbs of Northern Virginia in a house next door to the Elementary School which Amy attended as a child. Amy is a 2010 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and currently a college student at the Art Institute of Washington, DC. Amy's interest in art started when her mother put a paint brush in her hand at age 2. Amy went on to win many awards for her artwork while still in public school. Her writing didn't catch on until 2006 when she entered the Optimist International Club Essay Contest. Her essay won the Bronze Medal. Amy's artwork has been displayed in the Virginia Museum of Natural History and the United States Congressional Art Show.
