Los Angeles International Airport (widely known just by its code, LAX) is one of the world's busiest international airports, ranking 6th in terms of passenger numbers. It houses hubs for American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways, and it accommodates the operations of a wide variety of other US airlines and international airlines from Asia, Europe, Latin and South America, and the Pacific region.

All of us see aeroplanes from the ground - parked at airports, taking off, landing, climbing, descending, or cruising high above. But rarely do we see aeroplanes looking down on them from above. Such images are therefore rather unusual and strangely compelling. This book takes look at a selection of the aeroplanes that visit LAX, all of them seen from a rather unique and captivating aerial viewpoint.

The book has 144 pages and includes stunning fully-captioned full-plate images (one per page) of the airlines and aircraft that regularly fly into LAX.
