There is a hidden corner of the Spanish Costas as far East as you can travel on the mainland without getting your feet wet and thankfully it has been protected from the ravages of much of the rest of coastal Spain. Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a volcanic peninsula that stretches from the largest desert in Europe to the Mediterranean. It is home to some of the best beaches in Spain, spectacular rocky volcanic landscapes and some haunting remnants of the largest gold mining areas in Spain.

Cat and Jo were our chosen models for this trip and their dancing abilities were tested to the full against some stunning backdrops here in November 2014. Deserts, beaches, old Western film sets and old mines were the supporting cast this year and our models performed flawlessly with them.
