About the Book
This selecion of a photographic series show pictures of Hadewychs place, a niece of mine. In the fifties her parents build this half-timbered farm. After their death she was going to live there amidst a lot of cocks, chickens and little ones. They produce a lot of eggs which are laid not only in the yard but also on different places in the house. During a lot of years there is also growing a big collection of different kinds of material, newspapers, clothes, memories of early years and useless stuff which she can’t throw away. On the contrary, the pile is getting bigger. Despite this, many places look very romantic against the not washed windows, spots which are cherised. Everything very personal and wittnes of an intelligent and artistic person, like her father and mother. She always repeats the need of cleaning and removing, but unfortunately with little succes.
