ELIZABETH, MATTHEW, DARWIN MARRY
On July 8, a bright Sunday afternoon at sunset, Elizabeth Ann Eaton and Matthew James McKee along with Darwin Eaton were married by Jeanne Matthews Sommer in a wide field at Hidden River beside the Swannanoa River with the Blue Ridge mountains around them. Catherine McKee Hayes sang Ave Maria beautifully. Elizabeth and Matthew exchanged vows and rings and the new family wrapped their hands together in Jeanne's colorful shawl. Elizabeth arrived in a white carriage and the new family drove away the same way. After the ceremony the Eatons and McKees and friends ate a delicious meal prepared by Moments, cut the cake and then celebrated late into the dark evening to the light of burning torches.
