About the Book
There is one underlying reason that people go to bars, and that’s to drink. Whether its to shake off a day’s worth of work, catch up with friends or meet new ones, to check out a band, or to feed the juke box, bars act as venues for patrons to socialize while enjoying their favorite spirits.
My goal is to photograph subjects in a setting in which a drink is directly or indirectly involved. Creating images in a non-invasive manner without the use of a flash, capturing both motion and emotion with one hand, with a drink of my own in the other.
