Departed Japan
March 9, 2010
Returned from Los Angeles
For five years and more, I did not return to that place that felt like a second home.
I wanted to, yet I could not. Somehow, the time passed.
The memories of that beautiful time were always by my side.
I would open Google Maps and see if the terrain had changed.
July 21, 2015
With the support of those around me, I plotted a long-awaited return to LA.
The visual atmosphere seemed deeply changed.
My own feelings, changing as I age, may have played some small part.
And yet..
My friends remained, just as they had been before -- like it was yesterday.
