My books tend to fall into two categories: family and photography. Feits and Breitowiches tells the story of my mother's family's immigration from Galicia (Poland) to Chicago in the early 1900s. Other family books are typical snapshots of grandchildren or family trips. The photography books grow out of my interest in photography that developed when I moved in 1994 to live on 45 acres near Providence, RI. Taking photographs is a way for me to witness the changing of the seasons, the harmonies and dissonances of nature, and the life force made manifest.
