About the Creator
Todd Schlemmer
Seattle, WA, USA
Geek, Maker, Artist, Cook, Romantic... Since 1964. Firefighter/Paramedic in Meatspace. I make slow photographs with film, using pinhole cameras and tools I have designed in CAD software, and created with 3D printing. Working with simple cameras and photographic films fosters a meticulous and intimate engagement with my subjects and process. Familiar situations are recast with deliberate distortion of perspective. Long exposures (often surreptitious) put subject matter in a temporal context. I freely share my pinhole camera designs and they are used by people around the world.
