There are more than 1200 well known and lesser known monuments in Delhi. Out of these 174

monuments have been declared as protected by Archaeological Survey of India. Eleven of these monuments have disappeared and have been recommended to be denotified. In this edition 326 photographs of about 160 protected monuments,few other listed monuments ,private masjids, dargahs, temples and a church in and around so called seven cities of Delhi are included.
