About the Book
Passing and fleeting thoughts written down in an attempt to expel them from the authors mind.
A journey through love and loss that leads to contemplation, confrontation and acceptance.

Complex
Didn’t you say goodbye?
Didn’t you say this wouldn’t work?
In a world so advanced
In a time so changed
You took me back
Made decades reverse
Said my skin
My skin brought our end
Now I know you didn’t use those words
I know "it’s not how you feel"
It’s just that your "family doesn't get it"
Isn’t that easy?
Isn’t that convenient?
Say goodbye already
Cause it’s you that can't deal
It’s you that can’t get it
Just let me move on
It took this long for me to let go
Id blinked away enough tears
I’ve bathe since you’ve gone
I’ve washed away those years
Years of suffering
And hiding
And ignorance you tried to put on me
Guess you thought with a robe
A shroud of oppression
No one could read me
No one could see
My skins dark complexion
A journey through love and loss that leads to contemplation, confrontation and acceptance.
