The photographs in this book are shot on the streets of downtown Los Angeles between 2010 - 2016. The subtitle, "First Take" means that this is the first of many Street Shooting in DTLA books. Like Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass," this book will be a work in continual work-in-progress. When the "Second Take" comes around, new photos will be added and others will be taken out.
